After a few days in Marrakech in 1999, we travelled over the Atlas Mountains to the town of Ouarzazate. There we were shocked to see what looked like American soldiers firing into a square in the old town. As the smoke from explosions rose up into the air, it seemed that, once again, we had blundered into some form of military action.

We then saw that we were watching the making of the film “Rules of Engagement“.
